I've not yet had much chance to play with it, but my ideas are mostly work related-

1) Controlled Vocabulary - a database of tags based on some authority (ie LCSH, Getty, APT, Geonames etc). More important if sharing tags than if using it as a stand alone.
2) Extraction of Exif data from digital photos to create tags. May need an authority file to reduce the number of tags created this way.

Possibly a few more after I've tried it a bit more

1. Allowing tabbles to be nested under other tabbles. This is a biggie.
2. An updated user manual - or maybe I just haven't found it?
3. Working correctly with 2 monitors, not reverting to the primary monitor when Tabbles starts.
4. Adding the main menus, File, View, etc., was very good, IMHO, thank you very much. But it would be nice if the menus dropped when the mouse was hovered over the main item instead of requiring a click on each one.
5. Use the same text as all the other items in the Windows right click shell extension instead of a smaller, bold font
I admit some of these aren't hugely important, but without the first, I'm reluctant to put too much effort into creating a structure I'm not happy with which limits my use of the program.

I have TERABYTES of data and use extensive folder/file naming conventions.
I love the concept of Tabbles, but have a major issue with importing into tables.
For example, I have a folder for all File relates software - 2,213 folders, 25,974 files 2,37 GB
This is a SUBSET of my software folder which is even bigger. 21,867 folders, 248,973 files 49.2GB
When moving this amount of file names to Tabbles, the results are worse than explorer (or powerdesk)

There MUST be as "filter" on import that will allow me to Include or exclude file types.
There MUST be a "filter" on Viewing a tabble as well.

File folders represent the name of the software (software\files\tabbles) so in my "software\files\tabble" tabble I would like to see a nested tabble named files and within software\files a tabble named tabble. in the tabble tabble I would like to see only:
*.txt, *.exe, *.doc *.html *.zip
In the whats-tabbles.html file is a folder named whats-tabbles_files that contains 41 files occupying 600K
I do NOT want this "junk" (in my opinion) in the table or if it is there needs to be a viewing filter of some type related to HTMLs.

Another example software\browsers\Firefox I have more sub folders representing different builds of Firefox
I would love a tabble called software\browsers\firefox with the nested tabbles for each version. However, this does not seen to be doable. software\browsers\Firefox\Firefox3.5 contains 144files and 8 Folders but in reality only 7 files an exe and 6 HTML The 2 extra folders are subfolders of htm folders

Am I the ONLY person experiencing this frustration?

please have a look at the latest beta: it includes a way to create name-filtered auto-categorization rules. I guess this is what you need...

If I'm understanding what you're asking -- In the new beta (1.2.1) check under edit > rules (? pretty sure. at work and not in front of the prg) There you should at least be able to filter unwanted items into a dump tabble. Haven't played with it much yet, but I don't see a way to exclude files in auto-tabbling.

As to filtering things out of your results; in the file window after you've done your basic search, right click on a tag (under the file) or on a tabble in the suggested column and there is an option to exclude files with that tabble from the results. (only place the option shows up at the moment so far as I can see)

Remember, this beta is the first implimentation of a very powerful feature so it will get dialed in over the next few weeks/months to get more useful and specific.

Don't get me started on nested Tabbles, though. Something we've been hoping for for a while now...

1) Different forms possible for the tables. Not only round, but also some others like triangles, ovals etc
2) When you give a différent colour to the same name, the sort out by colour name creates as many headings as there are colours but groups the tables under one of the headings. So there are empty headings. Coud it be fixed so there is only one heading remaining, the one which is not empty. It is a attempt to have kind of "Theme folder" on the tabble panel under which you can have different colors for the same theme. This is useful when you have A LOT of different topic to treat like I do.
