How to install Tabbles portable on a USB drive

How to install Tabbles portable on a USB stick, using the regular installer

It's pretty easy:

1) launch the installer and when it asks you where you want to install Tabbles, point it to a folder in your USB drive.

2) After you've done that, go to the folder (on your USB) where Tabbles was installed and create a file named _portable in it...yes, a plain and simple empty file named _portable. This will tell Tabbles that it should go to "Portable mode".

That's it - I hope it won't be too hard!

I downloaded the portable version today. The instructions (readme) are not the same as written here in the posting.

Hey there,

I'm glad you noticed - that post is from the 10th of June and a lot of things happened since then

Just follow the instructions from the newly downloaded files... the forum will never be up-to-date with this
